Immortal Freedom

The wind blows, Holy Bodhi leaves gently rustle
Flames of oil lamps rhythmically dazzle
And thousands of flowers sit, beautifully arranged.
Fumes of incense sticks release pure ethereal aromas
As lights disperse happiness, and the darkness fades.
The glazed full moon creeps, beyond clouds
As prayers are lightly released into the air.
The serene world eventually embraces spirits of peace

We seek, with devotion, the way to true happiness.
We relinquish radical thoughts, to avoid causing sins
And walk graciously along the smooth sandy ground.
We aspire to be blessed by the Holy Triple Gems,
As soothing water flows down a pious river of blessedness.
The Heart is filled with deep love—hatred and anger no longer abide.
Trailing along the way to goodness,
Mind becomes clear,
We follow the light,
until life confronts immortal freedom.
