as out, so in

Lake silent, dark
mirror to reflective Moon
complete in stillness

Wind escapes blackened maples,
catches crackling leaves
to whirl, to fall

Integral, self-contained, this world knows
mystery, bloodlines
helpless ecstasies eternity allows
for now
