A Tear

when you pack
lay it in velvet
loops of amber sea
treasure string
a necklace woven in pearl;

each diamond
brilliance upon
waves opened
prism forcing luster out
to skin in slow motion
delivered across
amber kissed
essence;

glistened tears
live rapt
bearing promises
falling stars
to center of gravity
swelled mysterious
shape
throbbing
elusive melody;

to celebrate
deep submergence
in cleavage
of soothing waters
passions stream
roam in every cell filled
amber memories;

pack
and wrap gently,
for the morrow
may find me gone
to treasure
lover's tear
spilled in
forgotten meadows
