endless

out in the field   the wind
grows   widens   waves
flow across grasses   riveting
to earth what is rooted   endless

seams line up   with sky
mountain   and road   going through

out in the field   the wind
breathes  and grasses seize
this exhalation of the world
internalize   each of these sighs

airstream   supports the earth
stirring   audacity into the mix

grasses glisten in the wind
