Unavoidable Attachment

There is no letting go of attachment
only choosing not to grasp
pushing away, or pulling close,
attachment remains
ego not love is the root of all attachment

let go of desire; enjoy your world as it is
embrace joy and sorrow, accept loss freely
tame the racing mind
realize how wonderful your world truly is
let attachments fall by the wayside

take time to thank the object of desire
for granting the opportunity
to transcend attachment
