night brings winter rain

night brings winter rain
I spread my hair, comb's teeth

form perfect rows, planted garden
of radish and lettuce

my lover moves clay
pots to create music, we sit

steaming in the furo, frogs
drip from the trees. I hear

all of us singing together
there is no separation.

breath, vessels, bamboo
fingertips, rooftop, comb.
