The Monk Laughs

A monk told me,
Laughter is not Buddha,
Happiness is a mental transformation,
Let go of even happiness.
I asked him if he felt angry or jealous,
And he said that is not Buddha.
I asked him if he felt awesome or spectacular,
And he said That is not Buddha.
So I asked
"Why did the monk want to meditate?
To have the desire to give up desire."
He said that was not funny,
And I started to laugh.
