Rainfall at the National Art Museum

Red and gold awaken inside the weary eye
as life-force patters across porcelain tiles
and clarity across steaming tar gathers.
Dribble, drip, dropping chill scent
at the moment of the mind's ascent.
Here is art in nature's beauty...
the unfolding of crisp color
from the Buddha heart.
